Review of Blaue QuelleI had the opportunity to stay at Blaue Quelle during the Erl opera evening, seeking a respite from my hectic schedule as a marine biologist. The hotel is conveniently situated near the opera house, making it an easy choice for attending performances. The tranquil setting was enhanced by the soothing sound of water from the back of the property, providing a pleasant escape. While the hotel features a basic breakfast buffet and friendly staff, the amenities were somewhat limited. The family-friendly swimming pools did offer enjoyable moments, though I found the overall dining experience lacking in comparison to what I typically encounter in culinary explorations around the world. For those seeking more activities, the hotel provides bicycles for rent, making it convenient for exploring the beautiful surroundings through cycling or hiking. Though the hotel caters primarily to opera attendees, it offers a cozy space to unwind, making it a choice for relaxation amidst the festivities.
